This land had been used as a parking lot for the town’s major mall. The owner expressed a desire to subdivide the land, and sell the excess. Sitefinders acquired the site and found a tenant – Movie Gallery – for the owner. Development was completed in October 2004.
After working on the purchase for over 3 years, Sitefinders bought two lots in the heart of the downtown area on Main street. We secured a development permit for a Mac’s store and syndicated the development to four shareholders. Beaumont, just south of Edmonton, has very strict development guidelines which we were able to meet. The Mac’s store reflects this in their exterior design, and by having an open second story area for a coffee shop.
Movie Gallery approached Sitefinders to find an appropriate site location in the Crowsnest area. During a 12 month period, three sites were investigated. The final decision was to locate in the major mall, anchored by the IGA. Negotiations were successfully completed and the store opened for business December 2003.
Built in 1978, The Albern Coin building was originally a bank. Sitefinders secured the property, completed a joint venture agreement, and finalized the re-leasing of the building.
In 1998 Sitefinders purchased a commercial lot in Applewood. Sitefinders finalized the development permit, leased the project, procured Mac’s as the anchor tenant, and worked with other tenants to achieve 100% occupancy.
Sitefinders was the exclusive tenant representative for a an established restaurant chain from Eastern Canada and the Maritimes – Pizza Delight! Their first Calgary restaurant had its grand opening October 2004. Pizza Delight has 125 restaurants, and around 130 other restaurants under their “Mike’s” concept.
